late in the evening

i don't even think i can say evening anymore. it's the night. 10pm. i tell ya, my life schedule is in for a big surprise when i go back to work.

my visit was good. 19 years since we've since each other so there was a lot of catching up to do. but she is one of those friends where you just pick up where you left off. which, was 19 years ago. Oh! so the big airport here? you have to pay JUST TO GO IN. how messed up is that? no parking. just picking up and dropping off. that's whacked. 

she desperately vied for moo's love. moo was mostly indifferent. here she is saying, "buh.bye."

i was on the subject of night. it doesn't get dark around here until 9. and it's hot. i think i'm naturally a night owl anyway, so things start picking up around here when the sun goes down. after dark i went for a quick run to the grocery store, cleaned the kitchen and played with her highness.

that's not trash. that is her dime bag. that girl loves herself some catnip

i try to be creative every day

today i had an interview with another recruiter. this one went further than the last one. i took several tests - and have one more to do --- and i did a recorded video introduction. right??!! well, i've already done a skype interview so that was ok. although she didn't let me see it.

let's see. what else. oh, i felt the flutter of baby bean. in case you did not already know - it's a girl. eep! i was completely expecting a boy - as was everyone else except steve. steve wrote it down on a piece of paper awhile back and pulled it out at the sonogram. A GIRL!

while d was here it dawned on me that i could start shopping for A GIRL! can you tell i'm excited? although i'm still waiting for the grandma gene to kick in. and, every grandma name is taken around here. meemaw, mimi, grandma, etc. who knows what i will end up. not that this matters.

so i felt her kick! if i had not experienced the flutter when i carried my own i would have missed it. but there she was! some day soon it will be on full time. 

tomorrow i plan to people at the free dance lessons.
