overhaul took place.

um.  so.

you know, i've talked to you many times about marie kondo. the last thing to 'edit' is memorabilia. which, i had not done. people, i live in 500 sq ft. i absolutely cannot put everything i had in this place.

the living space has had the first make over. everything was removed and re-figured.  immediately i was able to put together a box for goodwill. didn't even think about it. some other items are on hold. i don't want to put something out just because i literally hit my limit of "stuff". and, no, i'm not going to tell you what's going out.

however, the living space is already so much more peaceful.

oh. but i will say this. i am slightly considering getting rid of the tv. I KNOW, RIGHT??? but it is only the current way i can watch my dvds. or, when i occasionally entertain...yeah...so maybe not so much. ugh.

the walls need to be patched and painted. fortunately, i had the foresight to ask the handyman to get me some "touch up" paint when i moved in. woot!

the sleeping space is next. i've squared away where i would hang the chandelier if it was ready to hang. not only did a piece of glass break off but another piece did as well. so,yeah. it needs to be repaired. which means, it might not go up. but, hell no, i'm not getting rid of THAT. please.

i have a visitor coming in this weekend. for short, i'll refer to her as "d". i met her while stationed at edwards afb. the funniest person i've known in quite awhile. she was a great friend, so good with children, and we've kept in touch in some format for um...let's see..brooke was 2? and now she's 25?

anyway, visitor means getting some of this (if not all, HELLO, HAVE YOU MET ME?) of this back together.

i'm weary. but satisfied.
