the evidence of fall is here. this is one of my quiet places.
this weekend i read a research report that in the 2013 our town had an increase of 200,000 people. prediction to 2020 is a population of just the "metro area" is over 3 million people. now, for many reasons this is a great place to live. but, the infrastructure has not kept up.
i'm done talking about this subject.
i did not do much this weekend. i had hoped i would have been asked out on a date (i wasn't). therefore i did all my weekend chores, cleaned, rested, and MISSED THE BRONCOS GAME. ugh. I thought it was at 2 and it was at 11.
I did catch the last 10 minutes AND the overtime. everyone is irked at the offense and even some are daring to touch the golden boy and say his performance is on the way down. we still haven't lost a game but, eesh, did you see yesterday's game? it was painful.
since i was ahead on my house hold stuff i decided to go out to barnes and noble last night and i picked up this,
my first paper book in years. no joke. but it was in the sale pile and the title griped me. is it even possible? my addictive thinking is bad. i mean, bad. we shall see.
sometime this week i will have a guest blogger. i'm excited!
until then
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

You'll be shocked, I know, but I'm excited to hear about the new book!
ReplyDeleteUh, dang, that's a.lot.of.people.
I'm thankful for the fall colors.
