the thing that i do

oh my grammar. i just read some of yesterday's post so i could post anything i forgot about and i used THEY'RE for THEIR. ugh.

do you think anyone ends up, in the later years of their life, being where they thought they would be? i mean, the stats on workers who don't have a career in their degree is incredible. the last report(s) i could find were in 2013 where 1/3 were not working in degree.

how did i end up here?

oh. i know i never thought i would be here in regards to marriage and children. i never ached for a career or wanted to climb the ladder. actually, i never wanted children either. here i am, since and two adult kids that i would give my life for. (do i need to take a class in grammar?)

but, life is good.

i need to go and do the thing that i do that pays the bills.

  1. That would be a great conversation piece, with people who are open to such discussions. But I think, a significant majority of people end up in a life that is different than they imagined. How nice to see "but, life is good".
