Saturday mix

Here is what's going to irk me. I'm typing on my iPad so it's going to properly capitalize words. You KNOW I do not type that way. Faker!

I am curled up in bed, drinking my first cup of coffee and getting ready to skype with Grace. It's been so much fun seeing her blossom into her profession.

Oh, you know what I can do since I'm on my iPad?

this is what i was trying to do. show you the view from my bed. my ipad doesn't ...irk

i love my ipad. i also have a tablet that brooke is using (not sure i'll see it again. ever) that did not compare to the capability of my ipad. but it is the only apple product i own. except for my ipad i am 100% android.

so i took the picture, edited it...and could not load it onto my blog. seemed like such an easy idea. 

i have since skyped with grace, got breakfast and have changed locations to work. no i am not clocked it but i do have work to do and i do need to build up time to take off for doctor appointments and my impending surgery. 

and my typing is not being transposed into capital letters. on that issue i feel much better. i will put in some hours here and then i have a 2pm lunch get together with someone who is currently working in the profession that i am considering. 

lunch get together yesterday was fun. oh my goodness to talk to someone who has, like, a real brain. i didn't think that would be a character quality i would want in a significant other but, yep, moving it closer to the top of the list. and i think he has dry humor. i get that type of humor.

near the end of lunch i said, "i had hoped that you agreed to talk to me about __________ was also because you were interested in getting to know me."

yes, was the answer. we like the idea of getting to know each other. i do wonder how old he is. but he is single, one marriage, one divorce, grown children...

i got roped into doing halloween again with lolita and her tribe. 

last year i just went along. theme last year: star wars. upfront is cupcake, the two brown things are the twins as ewoks. lolita is in the back as darth vader. i'm taking the photo. if i had joined the theme i was suppose to be princess leia - the one with the big buns on the sides of her head.

and, no, not iron man. i'm not sure who everyone is going to be. cupcake black widow, lolita as nick fury, trying to get a loki in the crowd and i have no idea where lolita is going with her offspring.

it is now hours later and i only have 2 hours before i have to be on the road to chat up person in my possible new career.
