here's moo grooming the blanket.
it's my last work monday i will miss my office. these days an office is hard to come by. there are a lot of open concept work places. or cubby land. this is directly in my eye line over my computer monitor.
i have not accomplished the hours that i had hoped to do. the perfectionist is very strong in this one.
in other news - i have been making some serious choices to make a clean cut from denver. obviously one was my hair. (did i tell you i had josh cut a few more inches off of the front? much better). the other is that i don't think i'm taking anything from my marital home with me. i even ordered new silverware. setting for four. the other silverware has been around since 1987. yep. i will also be making a trip to the local restaurant supply store.
during my research of downsizing - or what some call 'minimizing' i do not need "sets" of anything. here is an article from the New York Times Chef Mark Bittman on what you really do and do not need. And where to buy it. my pots and skillets are horrendous. they will not be going with me. as well as my knives!
i have this large tupperware like storage bin. it's been label #5 forever. yes, that would be at least how many bins we had stored in the garage. i went through it last night. it is my box of memorabilia. by the way, even though i was able to trash about 1/4th of it, i probably did not adhere to the marie kondo rules of memorabilia. c'est la vie. a few of the items i keep for my offspring. right now they don't care about that diploma or the girl scout banner(?) that is filled with patches from england. but maybe some day they will. interestingly, i filled out very little in each of their 'baby books'. maybe two months? *sigh*
going now. need to work.

All of the specialized gadgets annoy me. Quesadilla maker, tea maker.
