brooke brought me flowers
we spent our regularly scheduled sunday together. yes, we tried a new, highly rated, breakfast place. and then wished we didn't. don't get me wrong. it's a good "diner" - but that's it. the local non-denny's place to go. i had breakfast tacos with a side of corned beef hash. which i now realize is still in my car. ew. took a nap, went to see 'jungle book' (which is ohkay having watched the original disney cartoon) then we tried to go get calzones for dinner. TOO LATE! still on winter hours. (have i told you that these calzones are fabulous? and that i just found out about them? ) so we, and i mean she, ended up making two boxes of the good ol' macaroni and cheese. comfort food. THEN we were able to watch the first episode of GOT season six. yeah!!
she spent the night. here's how the place looks now - the evening of monday.
it is far better than it looks. at least this time it does. and i went for my last dentist appointment. at least the last one here in denver.
