tomorrow i have a date with my hair stylist. he's a man. and he's heterosexual. which, come on, stereo types exist because there is a measure of truth. he always makes me feel pretty when we are done with my appointment.
i've been torn. i am moving to a hot(er) humid climate. i am so looking forward to humidity. 35%-88% historically. here it's 0% and if there was a negative number it would be that, too. when i lived in virginia it was 100%. the only thing that made it tolerable is that was only for 3 months. by the time labor day rolled around - within a week the humidity was gone and the flora was preparing for fall. the most beautiful fall i have ever seen. anyway, i'm not moving back to virginia.
getting to my point - i've been back and forth as to whether i should cut my hair before i go - or see what it's like and decide then. but, hair man.
today
the last time he had just cut off 4-5 inches
this is what i'm thinking. except i want the longest part to hit below my shoulder blades
i'm also concerned that cutting my hair will make me look older. i know, i do not go gracefully into ageing.
independently wealthy me would be getting botox in the crack in my forehead and deal with those "smile" lines. however, i am not, so there.
