so nice that it's friday

you know what's interesting about this adventure? my memory. i loose them and then random things pop up.

for instance, now i can't remember what i wanted to write about today. i'm glad it's friday. i will be catching up on rest and going to see garth brookes in concert saturday evening. i lived in edwards california the last time i saw him. it was his shameless concert. my oh my. i think 22 years ago. google says 23.

wow.

and the mail just came. here's what i got.

i really dislike cleaning my tub/shower. almost as bad as grocery shopping. anyway,...tah dah! brushes to clean! much excited.

oh. my burn site is now just scar tissue. no more open wounds, etc. today we had 'itchy painful' stage. you can guess how that went.

speaking of .. two burn survivors reached out to me yesterday via the phone. i was able to catch up with one. four year survivor. later that evening i decided i was going to let myself be temporarily disabled. 

there is so much pressure to move on. to go back to normal. from inside and outside. the pressure keeps me from listening to my own body. 

next time we get together remind me to tell you how i think my event is changing me.
