was that weird, or WHAT??
i had to work tuesday and wednesday so christmas day was just brrrffkkkkttttt....buh bye. brooke and i spent the day together - breakfast, presents, naps, dinner and les mis. nothing extra exciting but nothing extra heart breaking, either. pretty much what i expected.
without nuclear family or children the holidays just don't seem to be the same. i used to note that when i watched other people. they wouldn't decorate, bake, cook. wrap presents...all that. it was like a posted note in the back of my memory. but now here i am.
guess that means there will be new things to try out at the holidays. i'm okay with that.
the new year is right around the corner. contemplating and searching for my 2013 theme.
