what holiday???

it has just dawned on me that there are some people not working today. hunh...

obviously i'm at work. blogging. go me.

here's how my weekend started...

text to capt chivalry: love you

text from capt chivalry: love you, too. see you next weekend.

call meredith. "um. hey. i text capt chivalry friday and i'm wondering if he was drinking because he said he'll see me next weekend.??"

???

meredith, "you said you were coming up the weekend before thanksgiving, right?"

"yes"

meredith, "well....that's next weekend."

errrr...yeah. i lost a whole week or two somewhere. 

so tonight i'm going to get new tires on the car. because one does not drive in the mountains on bald tires. well, at least one shouldn't. 

and i went riding on saturday morning. here's how our morning finished:

it's nice that there is an indoor arena. 

and then there was cleaning and laundry.  woooo. keep the excitement down over here.
