the fun part was having breakfast with brooke at my favorite breakfast dinner. the rest was pretty much work work work.
oh, that being said, i did have a date. date with the chicks at the office who really want me to meet someone new. having said that, who thinks meeting a new guy at a bar is the best idea? hmmm...anyway, lucy and ethel decided on this place that none of us had been. me, because i'm older and used to be married. them because it's a straight bar. what fun, eh?
none of us thought through the fact the preseason football has begun. and where is this bar? yes, one mile from huge stadium. i cannot tell you how frustrating it was trying to get there. traffic, cops blocking every conceivable road and my gps who was being a real beeyotch.
texting abound. yes, while driving, texting abound. tell oprah i dunnot care.
final decision was reschedule.
the good news? the reverse direction main highway - after said preseason football game - was being repaired. one lane. seriously?
great date.
one week from now i will wake up in new digs. that is if i survive the next days.
