so, yesterday turned out to be a pretty great day.

boss called me in and gave me a tentative job offer -- to start 1 sept. it's a lovely job offer and it has built into it a 4 stage plan that will take me over two years. in the end i will be "compliance officer".

oh my cookies people. me. me unemployed for 20 years. me "older". me pretty freaking awesome worker! i could not be happier.

i had to rework the apartment thing. the place i intended to move into was pushing my budget too close to "no margins" -- and guess who's really trying to live within a budget? i know, don't fall over in shock.

busy weekend ahead -- but full of good things.
