cha cha cha changesssss

i know, it's been only a few short days but lord 'o mighty so much has happened.

after giving my resignation my boss moved my resignation date to 22 april. i have gone from august when my lease would have been done to may/june time frame because my roommate is putting her house on the market, to may 6th because my roommate wants to close on may 15th to now, the current 22 april.

i asked my boss to reconsider as there were many small projects left on my desk that i could finish up, be there for the trainee and help keep the office on track while they have their first local conference. and, no.

she has offered to let me work extra hours in april to make up 48 hours worth of pay. that will be helpful. but she stuck with her end date - the trainee will be up to speed, don't need to confuse trainee and they want to introduce trainee at the conference.

it would have been nice to go the conference and say goodbye to all but i wasn't invited. i'll contact a few that i know personally and see if i can get some personal side time.

also have to be ready for house showing on 1 april. no time like the present to be procrastinating.

i changed my mind on the not dating thing. currently i've been able to put some emotional distance out there and, honey, if i don't need some fun and laughter right now i don't know who else.

spending easter weekend with some family. it will be my last time up there in those mountains. *sniff* but BOY HOWDY am i ready to not be clearing snow off of my car. twice now in the past 24 hours.

still trying to line up a place to live and a job. not moving along as i would like but i know i won't be homeless.
