photo essay - thing that are lovely

today is photo catch up day

this is steve. he believes a photo will steal his soul. therefore it is challenging to obtain a photo with him and he rarely does it without goofing off.

her is steve's wife. my goodness it's been over a year now and i have not give her a blog name. we were at starbucks enjoying coffee and conversation.

the next few are at the old spaghetti factory. we've celebrated here a few times. meredith and i grew up in california and we would visit this restaurant a few times a year. we ate here for steve's 21st birthday. ANYWAY, great company, dinner awful. so awful never going back awful.

again, never a straight face. but he knows how to make is mama laugh.

brooke and me at dinner.

us again at the theater waiting for The Lion King, The Musical
(i'm pretty sure i told you about this event)

then this happened this weekend. because...

THIS!!! there are no coincidences in my life. i had been watching the adoption website for awhile now. she popped up on the adoption page on brooke's birthday weekend. the adoption center is not close. i really wanted to visit her and see if we were a match.a whole week she sat waiting for adoption. all the workers said she was just a sweetie and did not understand why she had not be adopted yet. ha! i know why!

how we sleep. the name she came with = mushu. i checked with two people i know who are the best at naming pets. seriously. for instance one of the friends has a male siamese. his name is albert enstein. fits him perfectly.

the consensus was mushu was perfect which instantly became moo for her nickname. she is pretty much siamese. she has several qualities. oh, please notice that she matches my decorating. ha! she is inquisitive and has even been up two stairs (unfortunately) before i caught her. the upstairs gang is not happy.

my heart feels full with love and gratitude. there is nothing that compares to the Lord giving me the desires of my heart.
