since then..therefore..

since "the bloggess" and "june gardnens" at "bye bye pie" always post about their cats i thought i'd give it a whirl. by the way, i recently recommended jenny's book "let's pretend this never happened", and although i still recommend it as the most hiLARious read ever so far in my life, june is still the funniest blogger. hands down.

since my friend, who does not have a blog name yet, introduced my cats to fresh cat nip, i've been adding new things into their lives. the cotton mouse that has a velcro opening where i can continually put fresh cap nip inside it? winning! so winning i can't find it.

then i brought home the thing above. it has bird feathers. which have always been 'winning!' with the girls and animal fur (ditto!) but oh MY GAWD it squeaks. just a baby squeak. but you would think i had brought armageddon into the house.

i've rolled it in cat nip. i've held it so it doesn't squeak. but the moment it squeaks everyone runs for high ground.

i'm stumped.
