i think only old people, older people? more mature people? feel like time is moving too fast. now. not really during the work day as time can really drag but you look up and the holiday season and birthday are upon me. just celebrated aunt. grandbebe is next, then grandma, my youngest child, oldest child and then me. have we discussed how old i will be? holy snickers.
And i did just lock myself out of my space. that's no easy correction around here. apparently if you can bribe the handy man with $20 cash he won't 'write you up' and charge you $50. chaa. everyone has their side hustle. fortunately for me, I HAVE a cat sitter WHO LIVES in the building who has her own set of keys. when that lightbulb went off in my head i was happy camper.
now, again, when i step back and look at my actions which ended me up in being locked out of my place i broke a rule that is becoming pretty important for my adhd self. (remember, by this time of the night there are no more meds and i'm freeeeee sailin') Don't do more than one thing at a time. DON'T DO MORE THAN ONE THING AT A TIME.
but i did. in which you can thank me for not going into great details of what i was doing but, i forgot my keys and bada boom bada bing.
over the weekend i did two fun things. first, I found a BRONCOS bar!
and i'll be darned if it isn't an IRISH BRONCO bar. it was so much fun. everybody chanting, yelling, pulling hair... you know. or if you don't know, teddy suffered a concussion and baby lock had to play. the boy STILL hasn't learned everything. OF COURSE, Von was on point. i've decided that will be my jersey. i regret not getting an elway jersey (yes, i know they can still be found) but Von is the man. they didn't think he'd make it back from his injury last year and surely the head honcos were going to cut him to gain that cap -- but, nopedy do - he's a warrior and takes those youngsters under his wings. gotta love him.
speaking of football, if you didn't know greenbay has become my second. primarily due to friendships and Aaron Rogers. the broncos are frothing at the mouth if they can pick him up as qb next year. i can't imagine. now, Aaron is rocking a new hair do. in which i must say my uncle announced several months ago he was picking up the trend. the mullet it back. a bit different and i know, say it ain't so, but it is back. and Aaron? if you're listening? the man bun has been out out out and it looks awful.
apparently i'm on a roll tonight. i have discussed with my peers and fellow fans that tom brady is actually growing on me. he seems to have loosened up since the change. did y'all see the cell phone commercial? so funny. hold on.
ok. one last thing. the other thing I did this weekend is I think i've solved my recipe card mess. i have been fussing FOR YEARS over a system. well, back to adobe i had an idea.
i created my own templates. i did a trial print at an office depot - 4x6 cards - turned out pretty good and not too bad in the price. they will be going into a binder.
tah dah!!
i gotta go. it's late here and i still have things to do. and i can't do more than one thing at a time so i need to get at it.
be kind. you don't know what someone else is going thru
