weekend check in. it's quiet. miht go away for the day tomorrow. annie has family an hour away. on a lake. that would be nice. i've been keeping myself busy creatively. there's this not new thing, 

but new to me, bible journaling. here is my new bible. it's NLT. my usual is NKJV. but this was better than NIV, which is not at all on my list.

when bible journaling came about people were using bibles that had single columns. or at least a margin. there is some beautiful work out there. check pinterest if you're curious. 

but the art has been out long enough that this bible comes with illustrated pages.

that's nice. that's one of the reasons i bought it.

here's my life verse which was illustrated but i added on

and a verse that i am still working on - no illustration - just me

it feels a bit like a throw back as i'm now messing with paper stuff again. you may or may

not know that i worked with digital scrapbooking for a very long time. 

and two new coloring books. i'm finding it difficult to find good books. it's now so popular that there is a mass publication and so much of it is poo.

i like this one. it's very simple but all the pages are inspirational
