i have been listening/watching a lot of speeches lately.
this is mel robbins. i have listened to her several times and i am reading her book. so far the best thing that has stuck, and was worth buying the book if only take away this point, is 'you're never going to feel like it.'
You are NEVER going to FEEL like it.
I will NEVER feel like exercising, paying my bills, going out and make new friends, starting new adventures, staying on a budget.
two things. breaks the denial of waiting for the 'feeling' that says 'yes!'...that is just not going to happen. and now i don't remember the second one. i think it goes like this. loosing weight is simple. more calories burned than take in. but it's not easy. easy.
i'm ready for this wedding stuff to be over. i'm weary. i'm weary just thinking about it. weary of the stuff in my house. weary of worrying.
besides work - that is what i'm procrastinating. wedding stuff.
