friday is here. woo!
the color in the trees are really changing here. but in our area if you blink you will miss it. already seeing "turned" leaves in the driveway and such. then this area becomes an awful brown, blah palette.
it's a dreary day here. the day you need a fireplace, blanket, book and hot toddy. i only know one person with a fireplace. which, in my territory is stupidity. everyone should have a fireplace here. not that we are north dakota or something but still.
when i moved here in 2006 our town had already banned natural burning fireplaces in homes. apparently the "overlay" was too much. um, honey? that's smog.
so i only know one person with a fireplace and he's out being a do-gooder. he works at home depot and since we've had all this flooding -- home repair is in big, quick demand. everyone is hoping to get as much done as possible before the first snow.
guess a candle will have to do.
