so. yesterday was all like "i'm gonna be a monday and see how it goes."
well, for the most part it sucked. work was being very uncooperative. and not that i'm dooce and will get fired over talking about my job but please....some of the people...drive me around the bend. like miss daisy but not.
some days i ride it out but yesterday ... seriously...i've been here 1 1/2 years and you are STILL giving me the same excuses you gave me when i first started?
anyway.
for the last several months i've been casually 'seeing' this guy. we've actually become good friends. he was the one i called when cowboy moved to texas. because, you know, i'm a girl and i had to cry. he listened. and then cooked me dinner.
let that one sink in. a guy cooked me dinner. do you know how long it's been since a guy cooked me dinner that wasn't at a restaurant? i can't remember. and i'm not joking.
anyway. (tired of that yet?)
friend text yesterday to say that he thinks he's found the one. and needs a clean slate to give it the college try.
sniff.
however, stand up date asked me out for drinks. and that turned out to be pretty nice.
we shall see.
