changing tunes

when i went to bed last night i had something i wanted to tell you but alas apparently one of my insomnia med side effects is memory loss. or you know, the whole i'm getting older thing. either way i have no idea what i was going to say.

it won't be long until i have reached my one year anniversary with my job. technically i've worked for two companies but i've been at this job for almost a year. december 7th.

so much has changed in a year. job wise and my life. i now have 'a career'. who would have thought, eh? and so important to tell you that the dishwasher in my apartment works so much better than the dishwasher in the old house. how is that possible? i don't care - i'm just happy that i have a better dishwasher.

i do wish my coworkers had not talked me out of the garage thingey tho. the carport sorta protects my car from snow but not completely.

anyway, i love my job. this week i'm over my head working 11 hour days busy but i love my job. oh oh oh! and boss man gave me three compliments yesterday. because i'm all about verbal strokes being my love language at work.

i miss the companionship of a close mate. some one pulling the weight with me. and i still do pray that i won't be alone for the rest of my life but the farther away i get from richard i see how bad of a husband he really was. girlfriend. seriously.

and on a closing note i looked at my site thingeymajig last night and apparently there are more than my 6 readers reading my blog. who ARE you people?

btw, this used to be my theme song...and when you watch it on youtube the opening commercial reminds me of a seinfield episode when george was a hand model...

i'm not there anymore. i need a new song. any suggestions?

dance on people.

  2. I have to say I love having a garage; managed without one for a year or so but prefer one.

Woo hoo on the career anniversary and compliments!
