after my sexist post yesterday i went out and bought this. it was my dad's preference as well as cupcake's. what i've learned about tools and doing things around the house i've learned from my dad and cupcake. 

i did my drilling and hanging in my bathroom

i owned this shelf - i even had to use ...oh i can't remember the official name..sinkers? mollys? whatever, you know what i mean

of course the mirror did not need drilling - just a nail - but the towel hanger -drill baby drill

here's a full picture. except for the two holes i need to patch and paint (i already know how to do that) this room is done. of course, love. what's not to love?

i also changed out the drapes yesterday. the original ones were too short and the same color as the walls. my theory was to make the rooms look larger but i forgot the principle of contrasts. so much better now.

sat by the pool yesterday as well. um. that pool is not heated. i'll try the main pool today. it is the last day of the holiday you know.

tomorrow i start my flex time. 10 hours at work. i'm not sure how i'll do. or if having every other monday off will be worth it. we shall see.
