i know i haven't mentioned cupcake in quite awhile. well, actually i haven't blogged in quite awhile. anywho, i've known her almost five years. she taught me how to hang a chandelier, she's a tall lady therefore she always hangs pictures a tad too high. we argue over decorating rules. she groups items in even numbers and that irks me. i can tell when a picture is off balance down to 1/2 an inch. she likes to argue with me about that as well and we always get the tape measure or level out and i'm always right. she helps me distract myself on anniversaries. she drove precious and me to the vet for our final goodbye. she was the second to arrive at the emergency room. she was also part of my primary care recovery. she even held my hand in the hospital which she will completely deny.

so this happened!!! the wedding date is 9.10.2015. a destination wedding for family only. and on 9.11.2015 there will be a receptionist party here in town. AND her 30th birthday is today. AND they are buying a new house. and because it's a family only wedding, who do not live here, she has planned everything by herself. and you know guys, they pretty much don't care. no maid of honor, no bridal party. it works in many ways except the bridal shower and the bachelorette party. so here i am..planning a party. and i'm helping on the wedding day and with the reception party. i guess you could say i am doing many of the maid of honor tasks without the title. wooo care. not me. she's been there for me solid through and through.
in other random but awesome news, the bedroom is almost complete. while i'm gone this weekend the carpet is suppose to be installed. maybe they will even move some of my furniture back in. although i will not hold my breath. i'm just very excited to have my private room back.
in the last of random, i have started to color again. coloring books for adults..not adult coloring books..ha...coloring is showing up in a new area, too. many therapists see it as a way to help their clients reduce stress. i am enjoying it. you can sit around the table with friends. Or not. the coloring books are popping up everywhere. i saw two in the grocery store last night.

my coloring group of peeps also use the app 'colorify'. i love this one. it lets you undo! ha!
