oh. well, see, already, side-tracked. but if i don't tell you this part my weekend won't make sense.
about 3 weeks ago i had a big melt down. just very tired and in pain. my supervisor and i had a conversation and we decided to throw the conventional schedule away for now. yes, i am salary and yes, i need to put in my time.
currently i am going home early two times a week. that leaves me about 4 hours to make up before the next week starts. i'm really not a fan of having to make up those hours but i love love love me some time off during the week. last wednesday, my early day off, i went home and went straight to bed. slept until 530.
these mini breaks during the week help me out a lot.
back to weekend recap. friday i worked late. i was on a roll, owed time, had no plans - it just made sense.
saturday lots of stuff. mid morning i met up with a friend and we did our monthly supper solutions. this is another item that has been added to my life. the first time i did it grace was in town and the three of us went.
it's a fun get together and then i don't have much of an excuse to not eat 'well' at least 8 times a month.
then it was my first burn group get together. mmm...that is about all i'm willing to say about that at this moment.
off to home where i met up with friend again and we scraped the tub/shower and she caulked it. i've tried caulking before but it's just bad news all the way around.
we had pizza for dinner out on the patio - nice afternoon-- and we watched a movie for a bit before she needed to go home to her 'man'.
sunday i slept til noon. not straight thru but saturday was a full day for me. oh then some fun stuff. got my roots done, as they say....
am i boring you? it wasn't boring but it looks boring in black and white. speaking of,
bought a new purse.
isn't this just gorgeous? that's not the purse i bought. that's a coach. at two car payments, or one and a half rent, or one of my savings account...you get the picture...(har)
this is the one i bought. for my salary and it's price - i really like it. now i just need a kitten poking it's head out of the purse. *sigh*
had my hair done and went to work for a few hours. finished the weekend out by watching the opening show of this season's GOT.
another week is here. i'll be leaving work soon to go see my burn specialist - and then the young lady i hired will be coming over. i've hired her for a minimum of 4 hours a week. maybe more. her job is to help me accomplish some other things in my life. like cleaning. cooking, etc. she's also suppose to motivate me, encourage me to walk on the treadmill when she's there. i'm not sure that will happen today as i am really tired. did not sleep well last night.
okeeeey you are officially caught up on my life! yeah!
