it's been slow at work these days. not enough, yet, to freak me out about being cut back, but still. and in those slow times you have to do all the crappity crap jobs you've been putting off. i have one that is six months old. I KNOW. eff.
anyway. you know what's fun? finding out that you're a sensitive person. many of my pieces fit now and i clarifies A LOT! but you know what else? it's like when you find a spot on your carpet. or a ding in your wall. or a chip in your window. you ALWAYS see it. ALWAYS. maybe nobody else will, but for a long time that's all you see.
one of my lovely attributes is using sensory. i've always loved my senses. if it's in my life you can bet it either feels good, smells good, looks good or tastes good. functionality is okay. but if you can add one of those senses in as well? why, yes, sign me up.
the downside is sensory overload. mmmm.hhmmm.
for the past two weeks we have had a team of guys working on the windows. i think they are removing the caulk and replacing it. but the window washer platform goes up and down. and these guys TALK. our new office used to be so quiet. (bang bang scrape)
i've taken to putting my ear buds in and playing tunes. or i can play my white noise app. cool app. water running, ocean waves, white noise - and you can combine sounds as well. my counselor told me about it. her husband snores and she has to wear her ear buds every night.
squirrel!
later.
