the birthday gig part two...

let me tell you people this birthday was in the top 2 of birthdays of my life. it really was that good. and, just so you know there will be a part three and part four. yes, that awesome. 

when i woke up on the 8th i had a nice conversation with my Creator as i am wont to do some mornings. i thanked Him for my creation, His love and had one request. "May I please have some flowers on my birthday?"

so you can remember - here are the flowers from my work peeps that greeted me when i opened my office door. 

then about an hour into work these beauties came from Meredith, the king and the twins. this picture truly just does not do them justice. (my phone camera is broken. I KNOW!)

then i get this coded message from Grace..."so...when do you leave today?"... and about 1/2 hour later this arrived.  which, truly is just lovely.

and then about an hour later these came from Brooke. with a box of chocolates. oh, my eyes ached with tears. i miss that girl so stinkin much and...and...well...you get it.

first, can i just say how spectacularly fantastic it is to know that my the peeps in my wheelhouse really, really get me? do see the theme up there? uh, huh. 

second, God. which means i really don't have anything else to say if you were listening at the beginning.

part three is a dinner invite friday night with new guy that i'm getting to know. yeah, yeah...if it hangs in there a few weeks i will write more. for now we don't count our chicklets until the pack is unwrapped.

part four will be in april. yes, april. because, like, having a birthday near the holidays can mostly suck. above being an acceptation. however, on the majority everyone is broke and it's winter. blah. all i wanted to do on my 50th birthday was:

warm

lay around and be lazy

be waited on

that's very spendy in january. 

so, i moved it. and invited my girlfriends. part four will be in april with the florida mouse.
